With the victory, Huss upgrades its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Huskies host South Point (Belmont, NC) to play the Red Raiders in a 3A Conference 50 challenge on Friday, January 27. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 11-8. South Point lost 42-40 in their recent league challenge against Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC)

Next up, the Mountaineers play the Shelby Golden Lions (Shelby, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 25. Kings Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Golden Lions come into the challenge with a 15-1 record after their 65-21 league win over Cherryville (Cherryville, NC).
