Maine High School Basketball - Islesboro Central knocked off by Temple Academy

The Temple Academy Bereans basketball team scored 31 points and held the visiting Islesboro Central Eagles to 22 in the Bereans league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bereans now sport a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Searsport for a non-league contest on Friday, January 27. Temple Academy will battle a Vikings team coming off a 30-26 league win over George Stevens Academy (Blue Hill, ME). The Vikings record now stands at 4-7.
The Eagles (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Richmond (Richmond, ME). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Richmond ran past Valley (Bingham, ME), 39-37, in a non-league contest.
