In Tuesday's league outing, the Lake Creek Lions (Montgomery, TX) basketball squad beat the visiting Magnolia West Mustangs (Magnolia, TX), by a count of 50-39.
The Lions (20-7) will now prepare for their outing against Brenham (Brenham, TX). The Cubs go into the 5A Region III District 21 outing with a 14-13 record. In their last outing, Brenham defeated Rudder (Bryan, TX), 51-48, in a league outing.
