In Tuesday's league outing, the Needles Mustangs (Needles, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Laughlin Cougars (Laughlin, NV), by a count of 57-18.
The Mustangs (14-7) will now prepare for their outing against White Pine (Ely, NV). The Bobcats go into the 2A Southern outing with a 4-13 record. In their last outing, White Pine was crushed by Lincoln County (Panaca, NV), 48-40, in a league outing.
The Cougars now hold a 9-10 record. They play next when they travel to Democracy Prep Agassi Campus for a 2A Southern outing on Friday, January 27. Laughlin will clash with a Blue Knights squad coming off a 77-2 league win over Founders Academy (Las Vegas, NV). The Blue Knights record now stands at 17-3.
