Mississippi High School Basketball - Leake Central crushes Northeast Lauderdale

Leake Central Gators (Carthage, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Northeast Lauderdale Trojans (Meridian, MS), 65-42 in a league bout.
With the win, Leake Central upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Gators host Louisville (Louisville, MS) to clash with the Wildcats in a 4A Region 4 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 7-4.
Next up, the Trojans clash with the Kosciusko Whippets (Kosciusko, MS) in a 4A Region 4 bout, on Friday, January 27. Northeast Lauderdale will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Whippets go into the bout with a 12-9 record after their 54-35 league loss to Louisville (Louisville, MS).
