Lenox Tigers (Lenox, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Southwest Valley (Corning, IA), 54-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lenox upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Tigers host Wayne (Corydon, IA) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 9-8. Wayne won 61-30 in their recent non-league bout against East Union (Afton, IA)

Next up, the clash with the Central Decatur Cardinals (Leon, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Southwest Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 60-41 league win over Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA).
