O'Connor Eagles (Phoenix, AZ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Liberty Lions (Peoria, AZ), 53-32 in a league bout.
With the win, O'Connor upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Eagles host Sunnyslope (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Vikings in a 6A Desert Valley bout on Thursday, January 26. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 9-12. Sunnyslope lost 56-54 in their recent league bout against Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ)
Next up, the Lions play the Pinnacle Pioneers (Phoenix, AZ) in a 6A Desert Valley bout, on Thursday, January 26. Liberty will attempt to upgrade on its 4-18 season record. The Pioneers go into the bout with a 16-5 record after their 63-60 league loss to Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ).
