The Thomaston Bears (Thomaston, CT) basketball crushed the host Litchfield Cowboys (Litchfield, CT), 64-17 in Tuesday's league test.
The Bears (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Gilbert (Winsted, CT). The Yellowjackets go into the Berkshire test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, Gilbert walloped Terryville (Terryville, CT), 47-17, in a league test.
The Cowboys now own a 0-11 record. They play next when they travel to Housatonic-Wamogo for a non-league test on Friday, January 27. Litchfield will encounter a Mountaineers squad coming off a 58-21 non-league win over Wolcott RVT (Torrington, CT). The Mountaineers record now stands at 4-8.
