Maywood CES Wolfpack (Maywood, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Marquez Gladiators (Huntington Park, CA), 39-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Maywood CES upgrades its record to 10-7 on the season. The Wolfpack host Bravo (Los Angeles, CA) to clash with the Knights in a Southern bout on Thursday, January 26. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 13-5. Bravo won 80-5 in their recent league bout against Elizabeth (Cudahy, CA)

Next up, the Gladiators clash with the Torres Toros (Los Angeles, CA) in a Southern bout, on Thursday, January 26. Marquez will attempt to upgrade on its 15-9 season record. The Toros go into the bout with a 4-17 record after their 26-21 league win over Maywood Academy (Maywood, CA).
