In Tuesday's league match, the host West Point Pointers basketball team scored a good 41-31 triumph over the Mathews Blue Devils.
In their next game, the Pointers meet the Rappahannock Raiders (Warsaw, VA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, January 26. West Point will attempt to better on its 2-11 season record. The Raiders enter the match with a 12-2 record after their 58-38 league win over Colonial Beach (Colonial Beach, VA).
With the defeat, Mathews moves to 5-12 on the year. The Blue devils host Middlesex (Saluda, VA) to meet the Chargers in a Tidewater match on Friday, January 27. The Chargers enter the match with a record of 3-7.
