The Ridgeway Roadrunners basketball team (Memphis, TN), was overwhelmed 53-28 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Melrose Golden Wildcats (Memphis, TN)
The Golden Wildcats now possess a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hamilton for a 3A District 16 battle on Friday, January 27. Melrose will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 61-58 league win over Kirby (Memphis, TN). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-8.
The Roadrunners (0-10) will now prepare for their battle against Cordova (Cordova, TN). The Wolves come into the non-league battle with a 2-8 record. In their last battle, Cordova was overwhelmed by Germantown (Germantown, TN), 36-32, in a league battle.
