Maryland High School Basketball - Northern tipped by Meyersdale

January 24, 2023: Accident, MD 21520

The Meyersdale Red Raiders basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Northern Huskies to 59 in the Red Raiders non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Red Raiders now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rockwood for a Western Pennsylvania - Southern contest on Thursday, January 26. Meyersdale will meet a Rockets team coming off a 41-37 league win over Turkeyfoot Valley Area (Confluence, PA). The Rockets record now stands at 3-10.

The Huskies (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Mountain Ridge (Frostburg, MD). The Miners enter the Appalachian Mountain contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Mountain Ridge was nudged by Berlin Brothersvalley (Berlin, PA), 43-32, in a non-league contest.
