Vistamar Vikings (El Segundo, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting New Roads Jaguars (Santa Monica, CA), 61-23 in a league bout.

With the victory, Vistamar upgrades its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Geffen Academy (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Bruins in a Coastal bout on Thursday, January 26. The Bruins come into the bout with a record of 8-5. Geffen Academy won 64-22 in their recent league bout against Hawthorne Math & Science Academy (Hawthorne, CA)

Next up, the Jaguars play the New West Charter Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 28. New Roads will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record.
