Philomath Warriors (Philomath, OR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting North Marion Huskies (Aurora, OR), 50-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Philomath upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Warriors host Sweet Home (Sweet Home, OR) to play the Huskies in a 4A Oregon West bout on Friday, January 27. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 4-10. Sweet Home lost 48-42 in their recent league bout against Newport (Newport, OR)

Next up, the Huskies play the Cascade Cougars (Turner, OR) in a 4A Oregon West bout, on Friday, January 27. North Marion will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 57-50 league win over Stayton (Stayton, OR).
