With the victory, Southside improves its record to 19-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host Wren (Piedmont, SC) to confront the Hurricanes in a AAA Region 2 challenge on Friday, January 27. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a record of 19-3. Wren won 65-42 in their recent league challenge against Fountain Inn (Fountain Inn, SC)

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Belton-Honea Path Bears (Honea Path, SC) in a AAA Region 2 challenge, on Friday, January 27. Palmetto will attempt to improve on its 7-13 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 2-15 record after their 43-33 league loss to Powdersville (Greenville, SC).
