Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Pascagoula Panthers (Pascagoula, MS) and the visiting St. Martin Yellow Jackets (Ocean Springs, MS), saw Pascagoula's basketball squad hold off St. Martin by a count of 44-43.

With the victory, Pascagoula upgrades its record to 5-13 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Moss Point (Moss Point, MS) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 3. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 4-21.

Next up, the Yellow Jackets play the D'Iberville Warriors (D'Iberville, MS) in a 6A Region 7 challenge, on Friday, January 27. St. Martin will attempt to upgrade on its 15-10 season record.
