The Port Aransas Marlins (Port Aransas, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Three Rivers Bulldogs (Three Rivers, TX), 40-30 in Tuesday's league test.

The Marlins (7-14) will now prepare for their test against Kenedy (Kenedy, TX). The Lions go into the 2A Region IV District 31 test with a 9-16 record. In their last test, Kenedy was defeated by Woodsboro (Woodsboro, TX), 64-54, in a league contest.

The Bulldogs (5-18) will now prepare for their contest against Yorktown (Yorktown, TX). The Wildcats enter the 2A Region IV District 31 contest with a 13-16 record. In their last contest, Yorktown ran past Port Aransas (Port Aransas, TX), 33-30, in a league contest.
