California High School Basketball - Quincy knocked off by Portola

January 24, 2023: Portola, CA 96122

The Portola Tigers basketball team scored 40 points and held the visiting Quincy Trojans to 25 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Redding Christian for a Five Star contest on Friday, January 27. Portola will meet a Lions team coming off a 66-39 non-league loss to Fall River (McArthur, CA). The Lions record now stands at 7-7.

The Trojans (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Modoc (Alturas, CA). The Braves enter the non-league contest with a 8-10 record. In their last contest, Modoc was defeated by Mt. Shasta (Mt. Shasta, CA), 43-38, in a league contest.
