Regina Regals (Iowa City, IA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Tipton Tigers (Tipton, IA), 54-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Regina upgrades its record to 15-2 on the campaign. The Regals travel to West Branch (West Branch, IA) to play the Bears in a River Valley - South bout on Friday, January 27. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 3-11. West Branch lost 70-36 in their recent league bout against West Liberty (West Liberty, IA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Durant Wildcats (Durant, IA) in a River Valley - South bout, on Friday, January 27. Tipton will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 1-12 record after their 63-22 league loss to Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA).
