Riverside Panthers (Decaturville, TN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Scotts Hill Lions (Reagan, TN), 53-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Riverside upgrades its record to 15-2 on the season. The Panthers host Madison (Jackson, TN) to clash with the Mustangs in a 2A District 13 bout on Friday, January 27. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 4-7.

Next up, the Lions clash with the Adamsville Cardinals (Adamsville, TN) in a 2A District 13 bout, on Friday, January 27. Scotts Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 13-4 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 66-40 non-league win over Middleton (Middleton, TN).
