North Carolina High School Basketball - Southeast Halifax edged by Weldon

The Southeast Halifax Trojans basketball team (Halifax, NC), was nudged 44-42 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Weldon Chargers (Weldon, NC)

The Chargers now possess a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warren County for a 1A Conference 9 battle on Thursday, January 26. Weldon will confront a Eagles team coming off a 48-40 league loss to North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 5-8.

The Trojans (10-5) will now prepare for their battle against Warren County (Warrenton, NC). The Eagles come into the 1A Conference 9 battle with a 5-9 record. In their last battle, Warren County was nudged by Weldon (Weldon, NC), 59-32, in a league battle.
