In Tuesday's non-league outing, the William Penn Charter Quakers (Philadelphia, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Springside (Philadelphia, PA), by a margin of 57-29.
The Quakers (12-9) will now prepare for their outing against Episcopal Academy (Newtown Square, PA). The Churchmen go into the Inter-Academic outing with a 0-11 record. In their last outing, Episcopal Academy was trounced by Academy-Notre Dame De Namur (Villanova, PA), 49-31, in a league outing.
The now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Germantown Academy for a non-league outing on Friday, January 27. Springside will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 66-28 league win over Baldwin (Bryn Mawr, PA). The Patriots record now stands at 13-9.
