The Yantis Owls basketball team (Yantis, TX), was toppled 48-35 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Union Hill Bulldogs (Gilmer, TX)
The Bulldogs now possess a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Avery for a 1A Region III District 24 battle on Friday, January 27.
The Owls (2-13) will now prepare for their battle against Sulphur Bluff (Sulphur Bluff, TX). The Bears come into the 1A Region III District 24 battle with a 8-17 record. In their last battle, Sulphur Bluff was toppled by Bloomburg (Bloomburg, TX), 52-9, in a league battle.
