Michigan High School Basketball - Union knocked off by Zeeland East

The Zeeland East Chix basketball team scored 45 points and held the visiting Union Red Hawks to 36 in the Chix league triumph on Tuesday.
The Chix now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wyoming for a Ottawa-Kent - Gold contest on Friday, January 27. Zeeland East will meet a Wolves team coming off a 55-41 league loss to Zeeland West (Zeeland, MI). The Wolves record now stands at 7-7.
The Red Hawks (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Zeeland West (Zeeland, MI). The Dux enter the Ottawa-Kent - Green contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Zeeland West ran past Wyoming (Wyoming, MI), 55-41, in a league contest.
