In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Mira Costa Mustangs basketball team scored a good 39-21 triumph over the Peninsula Panthers.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the South Spartans (Torrance, CA) in a non-league match, on Monday, January 30. Mira Costa will attempt to move on its 13-8 season record.
With the defeat, Peninsula moves to 1-5 on the year.
