In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) basketball squad beat the host New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC), by a margin of 33-15.

The Screaming Eagle (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 1-8 record. In their last outing, Wallace-Rose Hill was beaten by South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC), 31-24, in a non-league outing.

The Wildcats now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kinston for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28.
