Freedom Falcons (Oakley, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Deer Valley Wolverines (Antioch, CA), 34-28 in a league bout.

With the victory, Freedom upgrades its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Heritage (Brentwood, CA) to play the Patriots in a bout on Thursday, January 26. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 12-5. Heritage won 52-39 in their recent league bout against Liberty (Brentwood, CA)

Next up, the Wolverines play the Antioch Panthers (Antioch, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, January 26. Deer Valley will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 41-32 league loss to Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA).
