In Tuesday's non-league match, the host East Rowan Mustangs basketball team scored a decisive 54-10 triumph over the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans.
In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 31. East Rowan will attempt to move on its 10-4 season record.
With the defeat, Northwest Cabarrus moves to 2-6 on the year. The Trojans travel to West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC) to meet the Falcons in a non-league match on Friday, January 27. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 3-6. West Rowan lost 22-21 in their recent non-league match against South Rowan (China Grove, NC)
