The Espanola Valley Sundevils basketball team scored 40 points and held the visiting Los Alamos Hilltoppers to 21 in the Sundevils non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Sundevils now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Taos for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 2. Espanola Valley will battle a Tigers team coming off a 29-15 non-league loss to Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 4-7.

The Hilltoppers (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Taos (Taos, NM). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Taos ran past Moriarty (Moriarty, NM), 30-25, in a non-league contest.
