Evergreen Valley Cougars (San Jose, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Silver Creek Raiders (San Jose, CA), 37-28 in a league bout.

With the victory, Evergreen Valley upgrades its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Christopher (Gilroy, CA) to play the Cougars in a bout on Thursday, January 26. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 3-2. Christopher lost 48-36 in their recent league bout against Branham (San Jose, CA)

Next up, the Raiders play the Live Oak Acorns (Morgan Hill, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 26. Silver Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Acorns come into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 37-24 league loss to Gilroy (Gilroy, CA).
