The West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA) basketball nipped the host Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA), 36-29 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Spartans (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA). The Titans go into the non-league test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, Alexandria City was tipped by Robinson (Fairfax, VA), 50-16, in a non-league test.
The Bruins now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Fairfax for a non-league test on Friday, January 27.
