The William Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA) basketball nipped the host Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA), 29-26 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Terriers (10-2) will now prepare for their test against Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA). The Titans go into the test with a 3-13 record. In their last test, Hidden Valley was tipped by Salem (Salem, VA), 55-15, in a non-league test.
The Cavaliers now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Northside for a non-league test on Friday, January 27. Lord Botetourt will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 22-14 non-league win over Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 11-8.
