Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets (Blythe, CA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host West Shores Wildcats (Salton City, CA), 6-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Yellow Jackets confront the Vincent Memorial Scots (Calexico, CA) in a Desert challenge, on Friday, January 27. Palo Verde Valley will attempt to better on its 7-9 season record. The Scots enter the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 1-0 league win over Borrego Springs (Borrego Springs, CA).

The Wildcats now have a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they host Southwest EC for a Desert challenge on Tuesday, January 31.
