The Waseca Bluejays ice hockey squad scored 8 points and restricted the visiting Redwood Valley Cardinals to 0 in the Bluejays non-league victory on Tuesday.

With the victory, Waseca moves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bluejays travel to Lourdes (Rochester, MN) to face the Eagles in a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. The Eagles go into the contest with a record of 1-0.

The Cardinals now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Luverne for a Southwest contest on Tuesday, January 31.
