The Appomattox County Raiders (Appomattox, VA) basketball knocked off the visiting Altavista Colonels (Altavista, VA), 44-27 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Raiders (9-3) will now prepare for their test against Chatham (Chatham, VA). The Cavaliers go into the non-league test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Chatham notched a victory over Nelson County (Lovingston, VA), 47-33, in a non-league test.
The Colonels now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Gretna for a non-league test on Friday, January 27. Altavista will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 39-36 non-league win over William Campbell (Naruna, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 4-7.
