In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Northwood Chargers basketball team scored a decisive 59-34 triumph over the Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves.

In their next game, the Chargers meet the Person Rockets (Roxboro, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 27. Northwood will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Rockets enter the match with a 17-2 record after their 61-12 non-league win over Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC).
