Charlotte Christian Knights (Charlotte, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC), 54-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Charlotte Christian upgrades its record to 7-8 on the season. The Knights travel to Charlotte Country Day School (Charlotte, NC) to play the Buccaneers in a bout on Friday, January 27. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Charlotte Country Day School won 54-43 in their recent league bout against Providence Day (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Lions play the Cannon Cougars (Concord, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Covenant Day will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 10-3 record after their 77-56 non-league win over Charlotte Latin (Charlotte, NC).
