North Carolina High School Basketball - Sugar Creek succumbs to Corvian Community

The Corvian Community Cardinals thwarted the visiting Sugar Creek Wildcats basketball team by a score of 40-24 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Cardinals now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carolina International for a non-league battle on Friday, January 27. Corvian Community will battle a Comets team coming off a 66-59 non-league loss to Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC). The Comets record now stands at 6-9.

The Wildcats (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Piedmont Community Charter prevailed over Carolina International (Concord, NC), 66-59, in a non-league battle.
