East Bladen Eagles (Elizabethtown, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC), 47-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Bladen upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Clinton (Clinton, NC) to play the Dark Horses in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 26. The Dark Horses go into the bout with a record of 3-9.

Next up, the Raiders play the Fairmont Golden Tornadoes (Fairmont, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Midway will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Golden Tornadoes go into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 36-25 non-league win over St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC).
