In Tuesday's non-league outing, the East Wake Academy Eagles (Zebulon, NC) basketball squad edged the host Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC), by a margin of 53-50.
The Eagles (6-4) will now prepare for their outing against Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC). The Patriots go into the non-league outing with a 7-7 record.
The Firebirds now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Vance County for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 25. Falls Lake will clash with a Vipers squad coming off a 60-50 non-league loss to Warren County (Warrenton, NC). The Vipers record now stands at 5-10.
