Eastern Wayne Warriors (Goldsboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Goldsboro Cougars (Goldsboro, NC), 86-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Eastern Wayne upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Warriors host Princeton (Princeton, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 5-9. Princeton lost 63-45 in their recent non-league bout against Beddingfield (Wilson, NC)

Next up, the Cougars play the Beddingfield Bruins (Wilson, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Goldsboro will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record.
