North Carolina High School Basketball - SouthWest Edgecombe beaten by Greene Central

In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Greene Central Rams basketball team scored a good 57-37 triumph over the SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars.

In their next game, the Rams meet the Ayden - Grifton Chargers (Ayden, NC) in a match, on Friday, January 27. Greene Central will attempt to move on its 17-1 season record. The Chargers enter the match with a 3-9 record after their 69-24 non-league loss to Farmville Central (Farmville, NC).

With the defeat, SouthWest Edgecombe moves to 6-9 on the year. The Cougars travel to Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 25. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 3-11. Nash Central lost 46-30 in their recent non-league match against Franklinton (Franklinton, NC)
