Westover Wolverines (Fayetteville, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC), 66-58 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Westover upgrades its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Triton (Erwin, NC) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 10-4. Triton lost 45-43 in their recent non-league bout against Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC)

Next up, the Trojans play the E.E. Smith Golden Bulls (Fayetteville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Harnett Central will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Golden Bulls come into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 44-24 non-league loss to Overhills (Spring Lake, NC).
