North Carolina High School Basketball - Jones overwhelmed by Southside

The Southside Seahawks basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the host Jones Trojans to 38 in the Seahawks non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Seahawks now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lejeune for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 25. Southside will battle a Devil Pups team coming off a 58-42 non-league loss to East Carteret (Beaufort, NC). The Devil Pups record now stands at 2-9.
The Trojans (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Northside - Pinetown (Pinetown, NC). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Northside - Pinetown was routed by Pamlico County (Bayboro, NC), 46-32, in a non-league contest.
