Lebanon Pioneers (Lebanon, VA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Northwood Panthers (Saltville, VA), 41-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lebanon upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Chilhowie (Chilhowie, VA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 13-1. Chilhowie won 43-23 in their recent non-league bout against Galax (Galax, VA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Patrick Henry Rebels (Glade Spring, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Northwood will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record.
