The Lisle Lions basketball team (Lisle, IL), was overwhelmed 53-31 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL)
The Comets now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grant Park for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 25. Reed-Custer will confront a Dragons team coming off a 45-17 non-league win over Illinois Lutheran (Crete, IL). The Dragons record now stands at 7-7.
The Lions (3-19) will now prepare for their battle against Lutheran (Rockford, IL). The Crusaders come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Lutheran was overwhelmed by Chicago Marshall (Chicago, IL), 48-42, in a non-league battle.
