Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Modoc Braves (Alturas, CA), 61-12 in a league bout.

With the win, Mt. Shasta upgrades its record to 13-7 on the season. The Bears host Fall River (McArthur, CA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a bout on Thursday, January 26. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 8-10. Fall River won 46-43 in their recent non-league bout against Redding Christian (Palo Cedro, CA)

Next up, the Braves clash with the Trinity Wolves (Weaverville, CA) in a bout, on Friday, January 27. Modoc will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 64-38 non-league loss to St. Bernard's (Eureka, CA).
