Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA), 45-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Western Albemarle upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Warriors host Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA) to play the Black Knights in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Black Knights go into the bout with a record of 6-2.

Next up, the Fighting Hornets play the Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Orange County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 4-11 record after their 38-31 non-league loss to Monticello (Charlottesville, VA).
