Southwest Dragons (San Antonio, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Winn Mavericks (Eagle Pass, TX), 60-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Southwest upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season.

Next up, the Mavericks clash with the McCollum Cowboys (San Antonio, TX) in a bout, on Friday, January 27. Winn will attempt to upgrade on its 5-16 season record. The Cowboys go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 51-36 league win over Winn (Eagle Pass, TX).
