The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Nixon Mustangs (Laredo, TX) and the host Rio Grande City Rattlers (Rio Grande City, TX), saw Nixon's soccer squad get by Rio Grande City by a margin of 2-1.
The Mustangs now sport a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Martin for a 5A Region 4 District 30 test on Friday, January 27. Nixon will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Palmview (La Joya, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 4-6.
With the loss, Rio Grande City drops to 1-7 on the season. The Rattlers travel to Martin (Laredo, TX) to meet the Tigers in a 5A Region 4 District 30 test on Tuesday, January 31. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 4-6.
